I have a 32Gb usb drive full of music. Lots of the music doesn't have the song title but only numbered Track1; Track 2; etc.

What software is available that will be able to identify the songs and also rename them ?

Thank you

Midomi will let you sing or hum a tune to identify a song, so if you like singing to yourself all the time, this will be perfect for you. I’m a terrible singer, so the service had a pretty hard time identifying half of the songs I tried to sing. My wife passed by and sang three songs and Midomi identified all three. So it looks like your singing ability will affect your results.

yes MusicBee can do the job. It can automatically retrieve missing metadata and album art, but im not sure it can rename files ..

interesting .... didn't know about these applications. Will also try them out.

@kaufen , don't worry, I'm a horrible singer, even though I sing all day, lol

Good luck with that. I tried to find a solution to this, but not a single application worked.

Tuneupmedia is the best and I can vouch 100% it can do the job, add files with a name like 3258792317574759732195732.flac and it'll spit out the title/album and artist info.

I'm going to try this today.

I ripped albums from tidal hifi using Android phone and fiddler script as proxy, the files are stored as 12423153253u58.flac etc.

Drag these into tuneupmedia and it spits out the correct info, it's crazy.

Yeah, free for 50 songs. Meh. I don't want to pay for software I'm only going to use once.
