Software Update Sony

can anybody make any sense of this? Im currently running 4.2.2 on the Xperia Z. The phone says my software is up to date, but when i plug into PC companion, kit says a software update is available

Now im struggling to update via pc companion, as it just hangs, but why would the phone not pick up that there is a software update?

I updated my V with pc companion, when I checked for updates on the device, it didn't show.

My guess is maybe it's a slow or unstable Internet connection
I did mine using my Vodacom hsdpa dongle

Its all good.... Was defo Cell C,, because as soon as i put my mtn sim in, the 4.3 update appeare.. Thanks

Sadly it would depend on each SP to release it to their clients.

They were very slow with updates but seems that they putting lots of energy and effort into their Xperia range of phones.
