Solar Geyser Rebate

I have just ordered my solar geyser. We will complete all the paperwork today to still qualify for the rebate and they will do the installation next week.
 
Damn, been so busy the last 2 weeks, I didn't see that the date had been moved from June to April.
Is there any way to still get the rebate or does anyone know if a new one is coming in soon?

Sure I saw a thread on here last week that had a rebate included in the quote.
 
Has anyone managed to get a rebate on a solar geyser recently? Heard Eskom has handed it over to Department of Energy. Not sure how to go about investigating rebate options, or if they still exist? Any recent experiences? Thanks!

It no longer exists....

the DoE have done nothing to implement it, and Eskom won't deal with it anymore either.

If it is a high pressure geyser then it's possible to retrofit with solar. Google "Kwiksol Retrofit" - a Kwikot solar solution.

It's relatively cheaper now than it once was, I have seen a promotion for a 150L GAP solar geyser (R13500 +\-).
