Hi All

Anybody knows a good Electrician to fix both Flat and House Solar install, Earth and Neutral Bonding.
Pls PM with a number.

The Local guy necver contacted me.
 
Today the wife heared a Boing taking off were SunSynk 8kW inverter is installed.
 
Anybody that used "Batteryview" on PylonTech Batt.
Bought myself a USB---> RS232 dongle with right connector RJ45 that plugs into the console off batt.

Version 3.0.24 works
Version 3.0.28 does not work

Hi all

I bricked one of my Pylontech UP5000. Dont ask questions.
Found were the battery came from I will pay them a visit tommorow.

I flashed my Battery with new firmware. Ask Pylontech why are the firmware so Buggy.
Was correct firmware for the battery. Also correct RS232 cable etc.

I also manged to obtain a recovery unbrick software which also did not work.
Before somone ask 128MB big. Also made by Pylontech.
It connects but nothing happens.

While upgrading Firmware.
It flashed up to 83% and then stopped, waited more then a 1/2hr to complete. Did not happen.

Why the flash always something new. Bugs sorted etc.


Now I'm taking battery back. Any other question?

BARCODE : Y225032C12250015 / 14 One of the battries got bricked. THey also dont follow logical number system what so ever. The 14 is the last two digits from same serial number.

Flat
Software version V2.6
Release date: 21-09-26
BARCODE: PPTAA01101A55652 / 53

Check Barcode called serial number.

Also another point you see the serial number on the battries, but not Firmaware. (Software version)

Also another pointer the house lasted the night. SOC 50% at 6:23.

Well, you will have to at some point. Call your supplier and make sure that they have a loan unit on standby if you are paranoid.

I have read on the wide web. Pylontech 3000C
Serial number diget 8 an 9 ending with E2 or E3, you can't flash.
You need to get a diffrent version for either.
In other words E2 need a certain flash version
E3 needs a certain flash version. Cant mix them up other words you brick the battery.
 
ok another tip. If your MC4 connectors are laying on tile roof.

Use on either side of the connector Hellerman adhesive connector blocks.
One in front of MC4 connector other one at back of connector Use cable ties to fasten connector and stick at back of Solar panel. As shown in picture. Connectors out of the water range when it rains?

Aim of the game to have zero import. Getting there.
 
Was a bad day production wise. Will manage through the night, and tomorrow die pope gaan weer dans.
I can see the diffrence on a two string vs. single string.

Will go the route by adding another string, flat. I do manage currently with one string. Next year before winter.

Monday my earth neutral bonding should be sorted. Give feedback Monday night.
 
Now my third week without my extra battery for house.
We do manage currently only with one.
Going into October we start 4th week without it.
Poor piss performance.
