Solar panel installation

talking about the mounting stuff from sustainable is probably for 400W panels .
I wasn't saying he should buy that kit just in case my point got lost, all I was pointing out was the typical number of brackets required for the number of panels, he should still make sure he gets properly rated stuff that is suitable for his application.

My point has always been that the 36 number cannot be true, thought I would just clarify.

He is not a fan of DIY, he believes everything should be left to professionals, I think that's the point, he was just saying it to you by the way.
Can't he just CoC the work already done? Or can't someone just get a fake CoC? People buy houses all the time with electrical and woodborer certificates and the house still has termites and electrical problems.

We have a guy here who DIYed his install, I just forget his name, he turned out to be a guru on Sunsynk from all his self taught experience and helped many people on the forum.

Last time I checked he was still alive and hasn't gone down in flames with his install.
Of course I do realise the is a place for professionals, being a keen DIYer myself there are still things I wouldn't do, but I would be very annoyed if someone tells me to leave things to professionals when I am trying to install a solar panel, it's really not rocket science.

Of course as a responsible person I would still make sure that whatever I do is compliant for insurance and whatever purposes if that's applicable.

2 rails for each string on the IBR roof + 4 clips per panel, so 24 clips + 2 x 6M rails.

clips are 15-20 each, rails under 1k - (usually 600-800 range in CPT).

Mounting for tile not sure, never done that, but assume going to be fairly similar.

The rails will be screwed into the roof beams directly on the IBR. Look for the existing screws in the IBR, and fix in same line.
