545 watt thats like a 30kg panel almost the same weight as a 100 ltr geyser .Maybe, but as I said the actual sizes can be confirmed with the supplier.
talking about the mounting stuff from sustainable is probably for 400W panels .545 watt
this gent has spent more moola on his panels than some countries spend on their whole power grid , you dont cut corners on such an install.talking about the mounting stuff from sustainable is probably for 400W panels .
Still no way you need 36 brackets for it.545 watt thats like a 30kg panel almost the same weight as a 100 ltr geyser .
I wasn't saying he should buy that kit just in case my point got lost, all I was pointing out was the typical number of brackets required for the number of panels, he should still make sure he gets properly rated stuff that is suitable for his application.talking about the mounting stuff from sustainable is probably for 400W panels .
yes ,why you telling me ?this gent has spent more moola on his panels than some countries spend on their whole power grid , you dont cut corners on such an install.
nobody else wants to listen .yes ,why you telling me
He is not a fan of DIY, he believes everything should be left to professionals, I think that's the point, he was just saying it to you by the way.yes ,why you telling me ?
Can't he just CoC the work already done? Or can't someone just get a fake CoC? People buy houses all the time with electrical and woodborer certificates and the house still has termites and electrical problems. He is not a fan of DIY, he believes everything should be left to professionals, I think that's the point, he was just saying it to you by the way.

We have a guy here who DIYed his install, I just forget his name, he turned out to be a guru on Sunsynk from all his self taught experience and helped many people on the forum. Can't he just CoC the work already done? Yeah, was it @Speedster? I wonder what his insurance says?We have a guy here who DIYed his install, I just forget his name, he turned out to be a guru on Sunsynk from all his self taught experience and helped many people on the forum.
Last time I checked he was still alive and has gone down in flames with his install.
Of course I do realise the is a place for professionals, being a keen DIYer myself there are still things I wouldn't do, but I would be very annoyed if someone tells me to leave things to professionals when I am trying to install a solar panel, it's really not rocket science.
Of course as a responsible person I would still make sure that whatever I do is compliant for insurance and whatever purposes if that's applicable.
very close actually .the 150 ltr geyser plus valves and install is R8k but he is a friend so i may have gotten a discount ,not sure i dont shop around .insurance covers 10k for geyser and install so im happy , the drip tray worked so no damage .does your plumber charge R10 000?
2 rails for each string on the IBR roof + 4 clips per panel, so 24 clips + 2 x 6M rails.
clips are 15-20 each, rails under 1k - (usually 600-800 range in CPT).
Mounting for tile not sure, never done that, but assume going to be fairly similar.
