I want to get one or two panels to charge my awesome mecer inverter or play with the idea, but I stay in a complex and don't want to mount it on the roof.

Is there a nice support frame or structure of sorts that I can attach the panels too and stand it on the ground (without out having to custom build one). My yard is very nice orientated to get lots of sun from 12....

I am sitting with the same problem and have not seen any thing off the shelf .
I think i am going to mount mine on the side of the house above the garage .
With triangle supports and rawl bolts in to the wall .

Dont think you should do that without any anchoring, if there are some strong winds, your PV panels will be gone or damaged

I am thinking to use some concrete weights. Similar to those used for umbrellas.
It would be better if you can tie it down to a wall as well, you need three structurally strong points for a system.
Can it be fix to the wall? That would be the easiest

No. If I fix it to a wall it will become a permanent structure. Too many rules and regulations to get past. I'm also renting so would like to take the system with me.

But I will keep this in mind and consider that it will need to be anchored somehow.

Cool man, just dont wanna see your PV panels get damaged

Yeah, they too pricey for that. It would be nice to actually have a system that works out and is practical as many are in buildings that don't make it possible to mount panels on walls or roof.
I think most developer nowadays will include PV panels in their offering. It just makes sense, and I think in Europe, especially Italy, it is a mandatory.

Someone actually done this successfully that you know off? ... any links?

Why not just slap it on the roof? The roof is just sitting there doing nothing.
