I notice that it is possible to obtain 2.5" SSD to directly replace your normal mechanical HDD.

Are these available here ??

What capacities / speeds

What prices ????

Found this which looks recent SANDISK 240Gb SSD

Would surely like one (or more) of these

Got that -- not sure how I missed it.

Still -- looking at Laptops specifically

I see TOSHIBA and ASUS have got some very interesting specs in the pipeline

Prices still way too high
