Some 4x4 advice

What about a pre-owned Terracan CRDi?

I heard lots of praise in a 4x4 community over the Hyundai Terracan but I don't know much 4x4 myself.

I've been reading a lot on landy online and they guys say that if you look after the car then they are rock solid.

I've heard the same thing from Alfa owners... Same goes for most brands.

People have vested interest in the vehicles they purchased and very few will admit to buying schit. My mate has a Disco 3 which is great ride but fsck me it's expensive to maintain (It's not even being service by Landy anymore) and I can see he's getting gatvol longing for a Toyota Prado again.

I had a look at LC and you cannot get a early 2000 model for R150 000. You can get a Hilux with very high mileage for that price range.

And you are comparing that to a TD5 Defender which has way less in terms of luxuries?

If you want a TD5 alternative in Toyota look at the J70 series, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser_70_Series

It's only fair to compare apples to apples when it comes to price.
