Hi everyone, I'm sure most of you guys have seen the Tech deals this weekend (a few weeks ago) and this Laptop caught my eye (Very very good price for that hardware) the promotion clearly states it will end on the 11th of November at Makro

The next day I even phoned then at the nearest Makro store and they said the promotion ends on 11 November...


Today... I go to Makro's website and I choose the store I phoned a few weeks ago and I go to there laptops section and I see the same laptop on promotion for the same price but now the date has moved from 11 November to 29 October :wtf:

Now what do I do if I go to Makro on the 9th of November and buy the laptop but they say the promotion has ended?


PS: I will flip the hell out if they tell me the promotion has ended.
PSS: Incredible connection said for a laptop of the same Specs as this one would cost R9499...I LOL'ed
 
Why do you want to only go on the 9th November? What if they sold out of stock? Have you tried a different store?
 
Well if you have proof that the website said 11Nov then maybe you can go fight them, but if it is just an E&OE the current date on the website is the one you should be following.

I can't believe this type of stuff isn't checked before going to the printers.

If you really like it and it is available at a price you're happy with, then you should go out and get it ASAP. This is especially true for stuff that goes on special for a limited time. If the advert comes out on a Monday, you should be there Tuesday morning.

Remember if you're impressed by the device and the price, so are thousands of others, and there is only limited stock. You snooze you lose.

Just take a copy of the advert when you go to buy it.

I have found most Makro stores very accomodating
 
I've noticed that after wallmart came into play Makro's sale dates are extended more than usual , even if an item on sale is over the sale date they usually still have it at the sale price so I highly doubt you will have a problem
