Hey Guys.

I am looking for some insight or expertise or feedback, whatever you may call it.

I basically started my own online shop website for car parts / spare parts. Launched my website with Bosch Wiper Blades & Philips Xenon Globes promotions. Been getting quite some good feedback and interest. As I understand the wiper blades and globes/bulbs are very simple things to replace so consumers can sort it out themselves.

Been wondering if as a consumer will you guys be interested in buying brake pads / disc / service kits or any parts directly online or do you normally prefer going to the workshop / garage and let them handle or sort out the parts for you??

Deciding on my next stage of focus parts to promote.

Feedback is much appreciated thanks!

I think most folk would rather it be sorted out by a mechanic or service center, especially things relating to the safety of them while driving.

That being said, I would prefer it if I could order my parts online and install it myself.

What's your website?

At the moment I only have Bosch wiper blades and Philips globes on promo on my website.

I am thinking of putting up some Deselra brake pad and disc. or some Depo head lamps or tail lamps. Just wanted to find out which one seems more efficient. Like you mentioned guys would seem to prefer to get mechanics to sort it out for the consumer. Maybe I should focus on the head lamp / tail lamp as my next stage.

led driving lights.

Are you referring to Philips LED conversions? Philips LED Plug n Play

Or are you referring the Stop Brake Indicator LED globes?

Many people DIY on brakes so yes I guess many would be interested.

Oh cool good to know. Thanks. I will work on some brake promotions combo with Ferodo DOT4 Brake Fluids See how things goes. When you DIY do you flush out your brake fluids?

LED DRL's - good quality ones I have seen a lot of people asking me where they can buy such.
Brake pads are a good addition to that.

Maybe also try rear drum to disc brake conversion kits. I know some people who are looking to do conversions but are not looking to go into junkyards, or the overseas route.

Ok cool the LED DRL's I think Philips might have. Are you referring to these conversion LED DRL?

I think the brake conversion kits is a bit difficult, i know a lot of suppliers and majority just do replacement and not conversions. But it is something I will keep in mind, thanks for the info, appreciate it.

Why not - flushing the brake fluid is a very important thing to do ...

I know, but it is just not something i do everytime I change brake pads.It is a chore which needs time, with brake pads i can take an hour in the parking lot after work and it's done.
