Exactly. :o
That is about the same as a decent PC graphics card as well, which is worthwhile considering.

Until Wii prices come down, XBOX 360 is winning the battle if you ask me...The next few months should be interesting.

I only reason I have a Wii is because I traded my Ds Lite etc for one.
I would not buy one.

You need to decide what is best for you but at this stage, my honest opinion is to see what games you want to play and see ehich console has the games that you want to play and then go from there.
The best buy at this stage is the 360 with superior graphics and a better/bigger game library (for me).

Indeed. My mate has a Wii, and I had hours of fun just playing the bundled sports pack. Tennis was my fave. When you add more people to the mix it really does become a lot of fun. But after a month or two, it was not so much fun any more. Tried a few other games, but did not really love them too much.

I see there is a cricket one out now as well which looks like it could be fun :)

I just love the fact that Wii completely flipped things around when it comes to gaming - normally you sit on your arse and the game does everything for you, but with the Wii you feel like you've had a workout after a good game of tennis or a few frames of bowling :)

Exactly. I like the Wii type games more. That's why I sold my 360. It doesn't matter how good the graphics are or how many games there are, if you're not enjoying them, there's no use in buying it. Some people think the Wii is just for party games, but you also get a lot of good single player games, which you can also play while lying on the couch. ;)

This is what I did over the weekend - the 3K was worth every cent. Plus, that price included the sports pack.

Also bought the Wii Fit, and let me say this - if you're never going to go to gym, then that R1000 will be worth every cent as the exercises really work when executed properly.

That is good to hear....The Wii still is on the list of things I'd like to get some time...Just need to save up for a while to do that :o
