For the second time in 2 months, I find myself the victim of someone at Neotel tampering with my account. First time round, my speed was limited to 1X, this time I've been completely disconnected. No internet, no telephony...NOTHING!!!

When I logged a fault (from my trusty Telkom line), I found out that the IMSI number (don't ask me what it stands for) on Neotel's system no longer matches my device. This is my 3rd device and I've had it for well over a month now with no issues so the change must have been on the Neotel side of things. Now they'll probably want to swap my device again. Why not just change my IMSI number back to what it was this morning.

Who keeps changing my profile and why are there no controls to prevent this type of thing happening. FFS, what kind of business are you running Neotel????

Its the "MAGIC" Profile changer.... Thats why some of us suffer and others dont...Whats the criteria for the change, why do you change this, why does no Neotel Rep respond on this forum.

What is the problem???

NEOTEL Give a response to this issue..

Telkom double agents probably lol.:D

Nope.... I have given them a name N0

That would be a Zero no a O

Meaning Neotel Zero ..... No Response.... Zero Response...

Thanks to the Neotel rep, my problem has been corrected. I really think Neotel needs to look at how their faults are passed on to the techies. I really appreciate the Noetel rep's efforts and I'm thankful he's on the forums, but if Neotel's fault reporting was working as it should, we wouldn't need his intervention on every fault.

Ahh well, here we go again. This morning I tried to connect only to find that I keep getting a "the remote computer did not respond error". I logged a call to the helpdesk (at approx 8:15 am) and got the usual "a technician will call you back response". Of course no one called and I called again at around midday. I was told once again that the techies are aware of my problem and will call me. Guess what it's pretty much knock-off time for most people now and still no call and still not connectivity or voice. For the first time in ages, I had to buy prepaid from webafrica. At least ADSL is still reliable.

Is there anyway to get a fault handled at Neotel without having to run to the Neotel rep or log a complaint on hellopeter?

It would appear that Neotel is going down the tube faster than people are subscribing

Hi orin76,

Please provide me with your ticket reference number. I will have a technician look into the problem for you.
