Something "seriously amiss" at SABC

There is something "seriously amiss" at SABC television, the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA said on Tuesday, after rapping the national broadcaster over the knuckles for again broadcasting adult material at a time of day when children were watching.

Who cares, "lord of the rings" c'mon - kids just have to watch the news that's far worse?

I'm also confused about Lotr. It has a 13 age restriction so as long as they included the age restriction they could broadcast it whenever they want and this was just a promo not the actual movie.

SABC, mommy said No, listen to me mommy said NO, you are not listening mommy said NO, next time I'll take away your pocket money!, mommy said NO....sounds like BCCSA?

The only thing that is seriously amiss over at SABC is the ability to run a TV station. Other than that, everything is fine.

This is ridiculous... Days of our lives has more sex / nudity at a time of day where kids are watching tv (Shortly after their kids programs no doubt)... Or how about the sex editions of Oprah???

Or simply religious broadcasts.

LOTR is pretty hardcore: interspecies loving (human/elf), torture, genetic engineering, full scale war, deforestation, animal cruelty, ghosts.
and if they show a promo during the modern day version of pumpkin patch it may upset some children or more likely parents.
