Watched. Way better than expected from what was seen in the 1st trailer before the redesign. Nothing particularly original but it's enjoyable. Sonic himself is pretty likeable & entertaining. Jim Carrey was convincing in his role as well.

Playing the game is recommended. When you have played the games, you will notice the movie falls into the case of "based on". This means its not actually canonical.
