Sonoff Outage

Yes, after almost tearing my network apart!
The system seems to be back to normal.
Mine are back as well. Fortunately they were [mostly] still available vie lan mode.

Started a few days ago but it seems to be slowly coming right now. I was also ripping my NW apart looking for the supposed cause and came up short!

I really don't get how this eWeLink app is supposed to work. I have four Basic switches in use, one of which is also RF capable. All four are selected for LAN control via the app, but only two confirm ''LAN Control" while the other two are ''! Connecting''. The odd part is that all four are active on the app and can be switched.

The ewelink app is trash, I find if you can add the devices to Amazon Alexa and control them via there they become much more responsive, I'm assuming they give requests sent from Amazon higher priority.

Unfortunately that was unavailable today, the only means I had to control my sonoff's was the ewelink app.

Tl;Dr - Alexa said nope.

Alexa is a morning, she is the dumbest of the dumb assistants. Was very happy when I sold her off.

Ah so there was a general issue, I tried a few things.

Anybody know a decent electrician in Sandton area who can add "Neutral" wire to a couple of light switches - so I can use the Sonoff Light Switches?
