Step 1: Unplug player
Step 2: Purchase new player
Step 3: Plug in new player
Step 4: Continue as before, only without the overheating problems.

You sure it says temperature error? As I cant see anything on google.

Never encountered this before...is your blu ray player on the stove? :p If it's under warranty, take it back - there's something wrong with it.

Failing that, move it away from where it is now - somewhere open with unobstructed air and check if the error occurs again. Trying playing a DVD (lower bitrate, less processing needed). If it works then where you have it currently isn't well-ventilated enough or it's dusty \ dirty inside.

Odds are you're going to end up buying a new one.

Only errors is see it on is projectors, what model is your TV and BR player.

Open the case, play, check temperature of the large chips with a finger. Add radiator to the hottest place.

Temp could be temporary.
Maybe disc or laser not allowing data to be read
