Sony develops 1,000fps camera sensor

Sony has unveiled a new sensor which could bring 1,000fps filming in Full HD to smartphones.

The 3-layer CMOS sensor is eight-times faster than any other current chip, and consists of “a DRAM layer added to the conventional 2-layer stacked CMOS image sensor”.

I agree.

Firstly, these devices will run out of space with these +1GB sized videos.
Secondly, Sony should first sort out the overheating of the device when recording @ 120fps - I personally find little to no use of this feature for the above 2 mentioned reasons, not to mention 1000fps
