Anyone got this phone, or know anything about the Wayfinder Navigator 7 GPS? From looking at their site, it looks like it doesn't have support or maps for SA. Is this correct, or just poorly stated on their site?

Wayfinder

Using it - works well. Connects to the internet to download the maps as you drive. Maps are very well detailed.

Just tried the GPS here and it tells me i need to update my coverage, then points me to the store site? Is this right, i was under the assumption that it comes with a 12 month free version. It's on a vodacom contract, i don't know if that makes a difference at all?

is the voda version bundled with the wayfinder like the mtn version is?

Yes, it is bundled with the phone. It doesn't come with any software disks for the Wayfinder application though, i'm not sure if the MTN one does?

The MTN one comes with a 12-month license for Wayfinder, as well as a icon on the phone to download the software with. Or you can download it directly off the net (once registered, I think? Too long ago)
