At the end of the day I believe if people aren't doing what they suppose to then I'll take it up I find it extremely unacceptable that people now day's just don't seem to give a crap about service

This thread is cooking with gas!! I am away for 24 hours and have to read through pages and pages!!

I called Nashua Mobile and they want over 2700 on a Procall 120. Yeah right. Sorry sir that is what the price is-- end of story. Sorry NM end of port possibility.

How does one get hold of Altech to find out what deals they are offering? Their web page did yield a number to talk to a human.

Sorry, I should have put this earlier... I had the same problem. I just manipulated the address a little bit... Use this one http://www.se-uiq.com/themes/commande/ , dowload the BlackThemeV2.

Once you have downloaded it, change the file extension to *.utz... Copy to phone, click on it and install... ;)
 
@MJB thanks for the tip...will have a look at the themes :)

Does the black theme render consistently across all the elements of the UI ?

From what I have played with so far, yes it does...

I am not really a theme person, but I prefer the black. Do you think that a black background opposed to white will help battery life :D

Definitely ! Black as we know tends to absorb heat and energy so it should actively charge your phone ...:p

BTW I see I've somehow slipped past the 100 post mark am now a "senior member" LOL do I really talk that much

Please don't laugh but how do i get this onto my phone. I managed to bluetooth it the other ones onto my phone. but this one is a zipped file? Sorry IT challenged

Firstly, you need to change the file extension to utz. DO NOT unzip the file first... You just leave it compressed and change the file extension. Probably the easiest way for you to change it, is to go into the command prompt, and type ren filename.zip BlackV2.utz (replace filename with the name of the file). Make sure you are in the same directory as the file.

As for copying... I just used the P990i software that came with it. Used file manager in it and just copied the file to the memory stick. Then just click on it and it will install it to your Theme's automatically.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess US$11 is not too much lost if the case does not live up to expectations.
 
Do any of you know why when I send a sms, sometimes it sends it twice?

Anyone had this or know how to resolve it?
