hi all

I just got my W995 and I must say I am very happy with it. I have made the hop from Nokia before to Samsung... and I was not impressed and went right back to Nokia. I was nervous trying to change again... this time to SE

It seems to have been a good choice so far, there are two things that are puzzling me. I have googled both of these, and Im not having much luck.

Firstly, I read somewhere that this phone has a proximity sensor... so essntially when you reach for your phone, it picks up your hand movement and turns take the phone out of stand-by...

Secondly, in most of the reviews they say you can change the text size in composing an email, but not in composing a txt message? When Im in the create message screen, I can go to options and change text size, but it seems to do nothing! Then whenever I come back to that option screen, it seems to default back to "normal" size... Another point is that when I change the txt size, and send a message it seems to send it as a MMS and not a SMS...

Could someone with this phone assist?

Other than that I am over the moon with this phone... Very impressed! :)

Don't know about the first one, but the second one is easy. SMS's have no formatting, so by changing the text size it can only be sent as an MMS because that format supports different sized text.
If you aim is to change the text size for your own viewing on your screen you might look for a zoom option or something similar (don't know if the W995 has this)
