Guys,

I can get a Sony ex500 for 13k, is that a good deal and does anyone know whether it's a good tv or not? The salesman has made a hard sell saying it's a 100mhz which is leagues better than the samsung I've been looking at.

Let me know

Thanks,

M

Thanks

Damn that thing uses power:

* Power Consumption (in Operation) max. : 255W Max

I just got a 32" HiSense yesterday and it only consumes 110W Max. Also don't fall for the mhz sales talk. My brother just gave me a crash course this morning on my TV as he is in the film camera industry. Even at 60mhz the picture is 100% perfect. I'm not saying that mhz is not important its just that you get to a point where it does not make a difference (unless we move the debate into the realm of 3D).

And yeah, Sony rules. Me jealous but will be getting a Bravia next year :)

Awesome TV! The Ex500 is discontinued now but still a good buy. Is it the 32"? Coz then you paying an extra R3k, but if its 40" well done!

Its full HD, LED, 100hz, BE3 n wifi!
