sony experia t switch off

When you google, this seems a mayor problem.

a Friend just got one and when a sim is inserted, it dies. Took another sim, same story, no sim, no switch off.

From Google it seems it is software related., so my plan is to insert older software or try to root it.

What do you suggest.

It's an age old Sony problem. Had the same problem before they were making smartphones and I'll never buy Sony again.

The sony ericsson was good.

I am sitting with the phone, needs to solve the problem.
