Hackers say they managed to steal more than 1 million pieces of personal information from Sony's system.

Fsck Sony I say. They have a history of fscking their clients over (rootkits etc) and deserve what come their way...
 
I'm starting to lose patience with these hackers. If they've got an axe to grind, do it constructively. They've proven their point. How much more are they now going to interrupt consumer services for their own agenda. At least if they disclosed their endgoal they may be able to garner some support. But if they persist with this they are only digging their hole deeper. They will be caught, it's just a matter of time IMO.

Doubt they will be caught - if they are, another one will fill their shoes. If your going to hack anything nowadays, its going to be a $ony server.

you can look thru what infor they have, did a quick search for my name did not find anything so guess I am ok , the info seems a bit useless tho, maybe my mind is not evil enough
 
Hmmm, this is a pointless exercise though. PSN is a free service. All these attacks are going to do is piss of Sony, making them spend money on it, and then start charging people. I just don't understand the point of these attacks? Looks like Sony has been shown it's weakness, and have been humiliated, but now everyone has to have a crack at it. Seems like no good will come of it.
 
I think their main purpose is killing the image of Play Station. Either they are hardcore Halo players, or they are leet PC fans.

Personally, I never liked anything Play Station anyway. Wii is also a joke. Xbox isn't much better either.

Good 'ol faithful PC is the future. If you are too stupid to use more than 3 buttons in an hour, you shouldn't be able to afford a console.
