PlayStation Network back online

Sony’s PlayStation reported that its network was back online and claimed that it had been attacked, three days after it and Microsoft’s Xbox went down in an outage.

It was possible to connect from yesterday morning for me. The other PS4 could only connect this morning.

Yesterday was bit laggy for me, but everything is snappy today.

People reported that they changed their MTU and it helped in some cases.

I see someone on MyBB said 1473 worked for him.

Had to follow the steps below to get connected:


On your PS4... Do this

Go to network..
Set up Internet connection
Wi-if or lan cable(what ever you use)... This in lan setup.. But wifi is just as easy

Now pick custom
IP address settings... Pick automatic
DHCP... Pick do not specify
DNS... Pick automatic
MTU... Pick manual.. This will show 1500... You need to change it to 1472
Proxy server... Pick do not use
