Hi all,

I'm struggling to purchase stuff off the Playstation Store.

The error that comes up is "Commerce is currently not available in your country/region."

As a test, I used the same card to purchase a DLC on XBOX Store and it worked as expected.

I've tried and I can't seem to find a contact for Playstation or Sony ZA - yet, if I look for the same for XBOX ZA I have no struggle - with that said, any support from PSN/Sony (Online) is a joke.

Any and all assistance please.
 
Had the same issue 2 days ago, just added money to my wallet from the same card and then bought off the store without a issue.

Yes, I managed to get hold of someone at PSN and he said the same thing - no work around - basically goto the PSN store, goto "Add Funds to Wallet" and purchase R50, R100 etc.
 
Were you purchasing from the PC website? I've always received that error on PC but not on the console's PS Store app

Same error on both the web site as well as the console.
However, if the item is FREE, I can buy it on the web site or on the console.
 
Yeah the wallet thing works fine. It's just annoying since then you have to pump in extra money (or sit there for a while to get as close to the xyz.ab amount as you can)

Yes, free games every month if you are a member of PS+.

Back to OP - buy cards and load them.I have given up with purchases on the store.Use prepaidgamer.com as you get the code within minutes.

Oh, yea, so not free, rental.
 
I could not purchase PSN+ from the website but it was immediate on console, so I guess their Website is a bit wonky
