Sony pulls the plug on "The Interview"

Apparently they have threatened Sony that **** will fly if they decide to release it in any format anywhere.

Am sure there will be a few online copies floating around somewhere

I want one if you get it tell me :)

A corporate Japanese company pulls a movie, Marine1 finds a way to blame Obama and liberals. Lol.

I find it interesting that Hollywood and Politicians are screaming freedom of speech/choice but yet both are pushing heavily against net neutrality...
Hollywood are pushing net neutrality? Im sure they are the opposite of that. Google, the EFF and such are pushing net neutrality AFAIK.

Yet Obama is being criticised for allowing that choice to occur

It's not a proper conservative response. The real response would be to allow the IP owner to decide for himself what to do with the IP.
One does not want government to interfere in what people do with their products. This would mean, zero commentary from Obama on Sony's response, whether appropriate or not, it's not his business. What is his business is safeguarding his country from foreign intrusions and blackmail but not telling Sony or anyone else how they should have responded.

ockie would be your best option for this purpose

/runs & hides
Ockie will be too willing to volunteer for the job....but then we wont get him back. We can have a mybb competition for the removal process?

If you bothered to check your facts, as CNN reported on DSTV they consulted the state department, yes can you believe it? Now your messiah says on tv why didnt you come to me? Who does he think he is Don Corleone?

Now Sony are blaming the cinemas. ;) So actually it has nothing to with the Japanese company now ;) try keep up

Your left ball please. You made false claims as per usual.

Sony decided on their own to pull the plug, you somehow decided it was Obamas fault (was that left ball twitching or something?). He has publicly berated them for it. What else do you want him yo do?

Maybe having a nut missing rather than loose will actually help introduce some logic into your thinking .
Actually the Sony head says it was the cinemas not Sony, so who is making false claims now? Try keep up chap.
He has only now berated them, after every liberal Hollywood chop has come out and gone ape **** over it.
Why didnt he comment when it happened? When his state dept. was consulted?

The only reference to state department being consulted was on the content of the film more specific the ending when Sony were apparently uncomfortable with the assassination thing.

Joking, right?

Wow, one time he didn't listen to the Republicans. He's supposed to tell them to go **** themselves each time, especially in his second term. Unless by some rare coincidence the Republicans want something that's actually good for the US or the world.

He continued the wars in iRaq and Afghanistan, one of his major campaign promises was that he would end them. There is literally no reason for them to continue. There was no reason to even start them in the first place. Bring back the goddamn army ffs. What could they possibly gain there?

He led NATO to invade and destabilize Libya. Gadaffi wasn't a nice guy by any means but at least there was some sort of peace under him. Look at Libya now.

Maybe "created" isn't the right word, but he sure as hell strengthened ISIS. By ordering all the drone strikes and killing who-knows how many innocents, he just makes it so easy for the terrorists to recruit more people. How would you feel if some American drone (which you wouldn't even see btw) just bombed out your entire family one day for no reason? Most people would love an organization promising them some sort of vengeance.

Nothing is ever certain, but recovery was pretty damn likely. What did he exactly do to change it? He gave MORE tax cuts to the rich than Bush did. The exact opposite of what he promised and what the American people wanted. He pushed the national debt to new record highs, where he could have significantly reduced it.

The Affordable Care Act is what he will be remembered for and that's it. So much for "change".
What about Syria? It makes me wonder (tinfoil hat time) was this done on purpose?

will do :D
Lol. I never volunteered my left ball for anything. And I do find it is useful to ascertain who is actually to blame rather than pointing to the person I don't like before releasing the lynch mob

You have repetitively made false claims...you blamed the liberals for it....are all theatre owners liberals? Not all theatre owners said no...just the major ones, I posted that a few hours ago...so who is not keeping up?

Sony Pictures Entertainment defended its decision Friday to shelve the comedy film "The Interview" in the wake of a massive hacking attack and threats against movie theaters, saying it had "no choice" but to cancel the Dec. 25 release.

How can you defend a decision you didn't apparently make in the first place? Again...from your favourite rag : http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...elease-interview-saying-studio-had-no-choice/

They decided to cancel when the uptake was not suitable for their profitability....and so was a conscious decision to protect their bottom line.

The problem is you bet your ball on unproven bias, but once again don't have the.......ball to stick to your statement

I'm late to this thread but imo North Korea has nothing to do with this. The so called evidence is trash.

Thanks for the link did you get that in your liberal conservative hating propaganda sites?
Obviously I cant prove it FFS  Do you think I was sitting in the WH when this whole thing happened?
Sony admitted Obama knew about this from the start so he obviously knew they were going to be pulled but he only speaks now saying they should have come to him first???? Really? Not surprising the majority believe him. The majority think he is the messiah
