Glad to hear. It's a really nifty phone.

I've been doing some minor research and tested the pac man rom on this phone. Really a nice rom.

Also, sorry for jacking your thread but does anyone here have any idea where I can get a decent cover/case for this phone?

My answer to the heating issue is that the screen gets very hot, especially with the backlight on. If the screen is less bright, les heat.

The software update (4.3) was to be launched this month, hope it improves battery life

I'm on MTN and I haven't received an update yet. However, according to the Sony Update Checker, Xperia Vs from Vodacom must have received the 4.3 update.

Vodacom .
The phone didn't find it but when I plugged it into the pc , pc companion showed that the an update was available.
