For those that would like to have a flash player enabled browsers.

Detailed instructions:
0. If you have an existing Adobe Flash Player app installed on your device, uninstall it first.

1. Install both Dolphin and its Jetpack engine from the Playstore:
Dolphin's Browser https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser
Dolphin's Jetpack engine https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dolphin.browser.engine

2. Download and sideload the modified Flash Player APK
See 2nd step in the original thread for the download link

Go to the link above from your Android device and download "Adobe Flash Player 11.1.apk" directly into your device.

When the download is done, open the the "Downloads" app in your App Drawer, tap on "Adobe Flash Player 11.1.apk" to install it.

Enabling sideloading: If you haven't allowed sideloading on your device, instead of installing the app, it will pop up a security warning window, on it tap on "Settings" which will bring you to the "Settings -> Security" screen. Scroll down and check to enable "Unknown sources". Press Back to go back to the "Downloads" app, then tap on "Adobe Flash Player 11.1.apk" again to install. (see 1st screenshot below)
Make sure to leave "Verify apps" enabled so Google can scan sideloaded apps for virus and malware.

3. Open Dolphin browser app, go into Setting, make sure these three things are enabled:
-Dolphin Jetpack
-Desktop mode (generally websites only display Flash videos in desktop mode)
-Flash Player (in Web Content menu)
(see 2nd and 3rd screenshot below)

Mine arrived this morning and seems to work nicely! Thanks again for the link.
Thats good news :)

Mine arrived a few weeks ago as well. Works 100%, although the cable is still need and used to its rolled up form, so still need to unwind it sometimes, not complaining tho.

I was playing audio the other day and I found that if I block the speaker on the left hand corner it goes soft(blocking the whole speaker) does this happen for you guys as well?
This means the speak does not fill that whole bottom grill?

Anybody updated to Lollipop yet?

Can't wait to get home and update... :D

After having it for two weeks, i sit in an auditorium with it between my legs on the seat, my nokia 1020 slides from my lap onto it and the screen cracks! It almost literally sounded like I just dropped a glass on tiles that's how loud it cracked... WTF?!?! Now it does not respond to touch or anything. Disappointed how easily that happened.

:wtf: Nooo way...
I dropped my z1 tons of times...(on tar and tiles) that must have been a freak accident lol..

That sucks man.

My Z1C also dropped a few times on tiles and so on, but thus far survived. That said, it is in a flip case cover, which makes it bigger but probably takes 90% of the punch when it drops on any side.

Any chance the jealous Nokia was holding a hammer ?

:( False alarm,
Looks like it was just a normal update on KitKat firmware... not to Lollipop..

Yeah I looked, you can manually put on AOSP 5.0 or Cyanogen 11 or 12 that is lollipop on the Z1C. I'll rather wait for the official release however.

Soon I shall too be a Z1 Compact owner. Now I'm just looking for what accessories I can buy for it. Either I'm going to get a charging cradle, or I'll just look for a magnetic charger and a case that keeps the magnetic contacts open.

Android 5.0 Lolipop be here soon for us.
