Hi there,

Calling all with Sony Z1 Compact phone owners,

Is your touch screen very sensitive? Like just before your finger touches the screen,
it already records a touch?

It's getting a little annoying...
 
Probably should have this thread in Android section, I almost missed it.

That said, I don't have this super sensitivity on my Z1 compact. I do have a screen protector on though...the touch screen feels perfect to me, it works exactly the way I would expect it to.

I think I should also put a screen protector on it,
It's not needed tho as the phone comes with its own, anyway I'll give it a try. :)

Ordered myself a Z1 compact from orange, should arrive by Tuesday next week.

Want to get a case/cover for it. What covers/cases are you guys using?? And where do you suggest to buy them from?
 
at the moment I am drawn between a Galaxy S5 an the Xperia Z2. I really dont know what to take. I also want to cut down on my cell expenditure and am seriously considering the Z1 Compact as well. This is really the first time I have been so conflicted with a choice of cellphone...

Haven't got one yet... I also need to go shopping for one. Let me know if you see any good ones. :)

The Z1 comp is awesome hey,
Everything you need... Well everything I need. Good battery life, Good interface, Good camera, all the apps I need.

Thanks, seems most places don't have stock yet. Will pop in there the weekend.
To OP, my touchscreen is not that sensitive either.
Love this phone and the fact that it isn't too big.

That is why you leave the credit card in your actual wallet at home. I personally have never lost my a cellphone. Got mugged once when I was still young and too stupid to avoid high risk areas, but at least never lost a phone.

Also, with google's device manager, you can locate your phone free if it has battery power level, and not actually been taken by someone.

Shall do! Was thinking of buying via amazon or mobilefun but shipping costs are huge. Going to try source them locally first. DO NOT want the flip covers, look like a retard when answering a call with a flap hanging over.. Just want something that covers the back and corners.

+1 the flip cover is just annoying when answering calls,
Just need something slim to protect the back and sides.

Flip cover is nice though to prop up the phone when watching videos.

I guess so,
Everybody has there own needs, but for me personally don't watch much videos on mobile.
Don't want my phone to be too chunky. :) just need some basic protection.
