Sony Z3 Compact

I just saw this phone in a min pamphlet this weekend. They labelled it "arriving soon" or something like that. Does anyone know when it will be available? My upgrade date it 1 December, and want to get this.

You have the same upgrade date as me :D

They got the phone on 7Nov AFAIK.
 
I just confirmed today as well, our mtn here has this phone. Now just waiting for the first of december, and in the meantime, my xperia V is acting on it's own more and more each day.
 
Found out to my chagrin and immense disappointment that my VC contract only expires properly in April next year.

I'm done with VC so I'm going to hang on to my current phone until I can port to TM.

I'd rather wait for that than get the 3c on early upgrade via VC.
 
I got mine , love the phone , just have not had the courage to take a under water photo.

And the 48Mbps MTN LTE is just brilliant.

Still looking for a good case. MTN only had the one to choose from at time of purchase

Take out iPhone on TM contract, sell iPhone for 10k buy Z3C from Orange for R6k, use left over profit to off set the monthly cost of contract. If that makes any sense :P

To my disappointment, after 3 weeks from receiving my brand new Z3 Compact the main camera stopped working. But all is well these things happen. Sen the phone in and it were replaced by the supplier with a refurbished unit, only to have my “new” phone for 2 weeks. The phone was on my counter top at home. I popped out to the garden for 30min. On return the screen were cracked from bottom to top. Now Sony doesn’t want to replace or fix my phone. Even if there is no sign of ANY damage to the phone or screen protector except for the cracked screen. There is also no sign of “impact” to the screen. Usually you’ll find spider web crack at the impact spot on the screen. The phone is at the supplier for 3 months now. This SUCK!

I have a week buddy that recently received a Z3 Compact as well; he chose it over any Galaxy due to its water/dust resistance; that "slipped" out of his hand & landed on the floor.

Phone looked all right at the time & the next morning he saw lots of hairline cracks all along the back.

Needless to say he was not impressed...
 
Mine is gathering dust in a drawer. It was a good phone, though.
