So, no thread about this little beauty yet. I think it deserves one as its a beautiful piece of phone.

Sony's latest and greatest compact phone.

I pre-ordered from handtec in the UK, should be here on monday through DHL. Total cost is R7k to import it, same price as ordering through orange local store.

This little guy sporting Flagship specs in a tiny body, waterproof and dustproof with a great design. 4.6" screen which is perfect size for me. with a 2600 mAH battery, the claim 2 days with normal useage, another thing that i really want. Can't wait to play around with it.

I've decided that it's going to be my next phone as well. Not sure whether to wait the 3 months until the upgrade is due, or get it cash and go prepaid...
 
Yeah, i was impatient and impulse bought it, but i kinda need it as my S3 cant even last 5 hours anymore, and screen is smashed.


Not to fussed about the price because i expect this phone to last me a good 2-3 years. Flagship specs in a durable body, what more could you ask for.
 
This is one of my upgrade options as well. Other would be full size Xperia Z3.

Go big or go home?
 
i was looking at it but i just feel its too big for me. I had a Lumia 920 which i got rid of.. but ya its just too bulky for my liking

ooh nice. Have you considered the hi sense branded phones? Apparently half the price with more or less the same features, processors and dual sim.

Prefer to go with brands i know, nothing against the little guys but when you buying a Sony/Samsung/Apple you know what you getting.
 
The price makes my eyes water. Think i'm going for the Moto G 2nd Gen

I'm sceptical about updates and support on the smaller brands...
 
You won't go wrong with the Z3 Compact.
Got the Z1 Compact, love it.

Make sure you get the magnetic charger!
 
It's around R30 from eBay. Not sure on the price for the docking station.

Phone got delivered today, 4 business days to get from UK-> Here , not bad at all.

What a lekker thing it is. Perfect size and weight. Fast as you would expect, nice features. For once its a phone that can compare to the iPhones when it sits in your hand, the build quality is outstanding. Comes pre-packaged with a screen protector, OTG cable, headphones, charger and a micro cloth. From the pre-order i also got a car charger + Roxfit case which is a nice added bonus.

Very happy with my buy!
 
Awesome phone this one, too bad I still have 1 year left on my Z1, which is holding up fine I guess.
