What the hell is going on? I feel like this is the 80's and I wasnt even around then! News24 wont open either, so then I know something is buggered.
Anyone else experience problems with their dial-up? (Formerly ADSL 384kbps SAIX)

And it seems to be mainly local affected

Not good at all. I've been on the phone with Telkom since Wednesday. For some reason, I connect -> start d/l -> lose sync -> reboot -> connect ->lose sync and have to have my port at the exchange "refreshed". The weird bit is that I'm losing DNS resolution on my TI account but when my connection is eff'ed and I log on using my Axxess account, everything is peachy...the mind boggles...
 
Do you guys use the cache.saix.net:8080 proxy? Just wondering cos I never have this problem with Telkom when I use that proxy for all protocols.

Yes, just checked... I am using it. That normally helps... but the last two days it has been crawling.
 
I use the proxy, always have.
But today is better for me, at least I can read Keeper's above message without any delay in download :D

HEHE I think i know why there is a lot of llllaaaggg
The whole world is downloading the patch for WOW expansion WOTLK , its like a gig download and as far as i understand there is going to be another gig patch soon
I know cause i'm one of the culprits :D
