I had this issue before and cannot recall how I solved it.
Dell vostro 3750
Windows 7
64 bit.
Realtek Audio
Stereo plugin USB speakers.
The sound always worked fine until a week ago.
Whilst listening to Cape Talk, the sound "garbled" for a 2nd and then continued as per normal, happening every 4 minutes or so.
Today whilst listening to Flac on Foobar, the same thing happened, so now I know that it's not the streaming but something else...... But what else could it be......
If I vaguely recall I had to go into the actual PC setup on booting and dis something, but cannot recall what....
Any boffin out there want to advise, please feel free!
