hey all:

I recently damaged my onboard sound: so instead of replacin it with a sound card i decided to buy a tv card: i'm unable to transmit th sound from computer player via tv card while tv is wrkin superbly: what might be th problem?

pls help...

I think you only can produce sound from the input(aux)(source). The tv card has a soundchip which sends out and gets amplified.AS far as the sound from the computer i will have to check on that....btw if you have a good tv card that has a built in sound card them yes you should not have problems...make sure you load the drivers that came with the disk

The output of the tv card can be amplified by a amp but will not work through your motherboard as you said its blown

Why not just give the tv card model number and make life easier for everyone, instead of talking in morse code

You can only output sound from a soundcard/onboard sound, the TV tuner sends the sound data to the soundcard.

So you need a soundcard anyway.
