South African Kali Linux Mirrors

You can even get hold of the ftp/http server admins from your isp and ask them to mirror the repo, just send them the instructions on the kali site. I've done this a few times before for linux distros and the guys were always helpful.
 
anyone know what would be causing this? I cant seem to fix it....

It can happen if the mirror is out of sync or in the process of syncing while you update, in which case it will fix itself when you try later.
It could also be your sources.list file that is incorrect, if you can post the contents I can have a look.

We also have various threads about this on our forum already, so you can check forums.kali.org as well.
 
I just updated my installation using that same mirror and its working fine for me, so maybe just try again.

Yeah, started working again like an hour after I posted this. Thanks though for responding :D
