SA phishing scam warning

A new phishing scam that uses the logos of the Banking Association SA and the SA Revenue Service has been uncovered, the association said on Thursday.

I receive a email from "Standard Bank" like every second day requesting me to confirm my details using the link provided

Sheesh... how many times will people have to be told... do not ever give out or enter your password details in response to links given in an e-mail?

Always go directly to your banking site by typing the address yourself into the address bar.
