Except that, highway efficiency on most modern cars is pretty good. Even an Audi A4 2.0T can do under 6L/100lkm.

City and town driving is where the drinkers separate from the tea totalers.

Renault has won the title of most fuel-efficient car brand in WesBank and FNB’s first Fuel Economy Tour.

The purpose of the event was to provide consumers with accurate fuel consumption figures for 40 popular cars in South Africa.

Apparently there were no VWs invited to the party. So sad! I drive a VW polo 1.9 tdi sportline, and I've averaged on a long run about 5 litres per 100 km. Check the video!

I'm not impressed. There were no VWs invited to the party. My VW polo 1.9 tdi recently did 4.8 l/100 km recently. Check out the pic!

It is likely, judging from their past. Lol! But my fuel tank won't be lying to me. That car is super fuel efficient, especially on long distances.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Diesel gate was about CO2 emissions, not fuel economy.
