South Africa's rooftop solar explosion

Once Eskom starts to generate for the lower level of demand, we have one rainy week and the grid falls over.

And it's been that even before the so called solar explosion :) hence why I've been moaning for years about daytime shedding
There was no noon dip when the whole country was covered in cloud from that cut off low a couple of weeks ago.

Might have been cause more people were keeping themselves warm :-P

Criminals are loving it, they can tell what house has solar and know there is a R20k to R40k battery for them. Essentially turning South African homes into shiny lucky-packets. Our police send out a message that solar batteries are targeted.

Thankfully I can't afford it so I am good for now.
