What is the best value for money spam management software for xchange ?

I need to implement it here in our JHB branch.

We are running Exchange 2003, and AVG is our anti-virus.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

the best form of SPAM blocking/filtering is DNSBL (DNS black listing). according to article, exchange 2003 has built in support.

DNSBL servers are a personal preference... no one choice fits all. I use the three below, which filters out 90% of the SPAM with 0 false rejections (in order of most rejections).
zen.spamhaus.org
list.dsbl.org
bl.spamcop.net

I removed these lately because of false rejections from iBurts SMTP.
dnsbl.njabl.org
dnsbl.ahbl.org
cbl.abuseat.org
spamsources.fabel.dk
ix.dnsbl.manitu.net

I suggest you go to the relevant websites and read up on the lists before making a choice.

Keep in mind that a DNS query will be done for each connection to your exchange server to each server you add.

Most of the commercial spam management apps are very expensive - particularly those that a) run on windows, and b) work with exchange.

Currently using a retail package called SpamBully - does the job for me (Outlook and Outlook Express), and is fairly easy to use - their website has a trial and all the specs and pricing.

Not too sure if it works with exchange though...
