Same deal using Opera here. In IE it doesn't display anything, but in Chrome it seems to work fine (which suggests that it should be OK in Safari); I'm not sure about Firefox.

While I think there is space for something like this, for people who want that sort of control and space (without paying for the space), I have to say that Dropbox is pretty awesome and that I like it. Freemium works for me and the fact that they have clients for just about everything (and web access if you don't have the client) makes it quite great.

Too early to comment on the concept as I'm not so sure if they are original or just copying the flavour of the month.

The site works fine in Firefox. But I do not think this must be compared to Dropbox, as the two projects have different goals and markets. Dropbox, is more of a cload-based storage area, while SparkleShare is more for project based development with version control.

Not sure about the comparison to Dropbox - since DB is a cloud solution and this is an on premises solution. Insync would be a better comparison to Dropbox.
