Speakers Help

Hey Guys

I need to know something. My tv's audio sound quality is pretty crappy, so want to get a pair of speakers. My lounge area is pretty small, so dont need these big fancy speaker system with amp etc.

I have 2 choices. 1 is an old Logitech Z680 or a Logitech Z506 ( not sure which one of those 2 are better) or basically a soundbar.

I have basically a lounge with an open plan Kitchen, so my lounge area is not enclosed by say 4 walls, rather 2 walls and one side with a window.

Z680 -R1500 2nd hand
Z506 - R1000
Soundbar - Not sure which one. Budget is between 1k and 1.5k max.

Where did you see the Z506 for R1000?

Thanks, Incredible Connection still has them listed at R1799, my Logitech X-530 rear left output has stopped working now I need a replacement.

I picked up the Z680 2nd hand for around R1200. For a system more than 10 years old, i couldnt be happier. Really nice sound.

Maybe check gumtree. One dude wanted R950 for his Z506 system

Matrix Warehouse of all place had the Z506 for R999.

Nice :) thats a bargain and a nice system. Good enough to use in a living room as well with your tv if you dont have a big area to work with
