Are the creative I-trigues bad compareed to the z4? cause the I-tiruge 3220 are R200 cheaper than the Z4's and i dont really need awesome awesome sound... would i be shooting myself in the foot ?

Not sure, sorry. They're probably great for the average ear.

Logitech Z-4s use different drivers in their satellites to those in cheaper sets. Produces amazing high note clarity...

If you really like music then take the Z-4s. They played sounds I'd never heard before on my prior Creative sets.

The most you should be paying for the black ones is R1050.

Have you sent them an email to confirm pricing? Because most websites that have products for a lot cheaper are usually using outdated prices.

PostmanPot's price is about correct, if you are end-user. I have to say the black look really good, IMO.

After that I will rant about flawed logic of buying expensive digital interconnects.

My Z2300 are 40w RMS x 2 and a 120w RMS subwoofer ... they're pretty loud.

Most mid level hi-fi is about 100-120w RMS per channel anyway

I would really not like to spend more than R600.. but the Z4's are all R800+ :/ so ya. Im very also skeptical about the cheaper models such as X-230, X-240 etc.
