Nah wasnt just one woman, that was one that made headlines, crime there is maybe worst than Hillbrow. Everyday even with 24 hour security something happens, its waaaaaaay out of control.

I'll watch it any way. Could be interresting, I grew up in the west of Pretoria and afaik the crime there is not much different than any other place around there. With that I mean: Erasmia, Kwaggasrand, Atridgeville, Wespark.

I do know that Laudium is a very rich indian subburb so that could be the reason for the crime happening there and the fact that it's right next to Atridgeville doesn't help much.

I do know that Laudium is a very rich indian subburb so that could be the reason for the crime happening there and the fact that it's right next to Atridgeville doesn't help much.

Laudium has been a place for people living in highrise houses with posh cars and what not. All these people own little 1 man shops in Marabastad or somewhere in PTA. These businesses is all just a front for other seriously illegal things. The "hits" happening in Laudium does not surprise me in the least. There is allot of money laundering, drug dealing, trading in stolen goods happening from within that exact same community

But I'll keep an open mind tonight when I watch the insert. Would be interresting to see if that report is one sided or not.

Not at all what so ever.

I am saying that the report should at least be open minded and not just one sided. I can promise you now that this will be blamed on the People living in Atridgeville Or the squatters outside of Erasmia. That is not the whole story.

No one deserves this and yes 100's of people in Laudium are loving law abiding people. But the root of the problem lies within Laudium itself and not outside

Growing up there makes one know all these things it's not stories running on the street. Where do you think the people go to buy their drugs in PTA ? Sunnyside is a bit far As I mentioned, yes there is law abiding citizens staying there but the root of the problem lies within Laudium itself not outside of it.
