Speed Test on Iburst Site

Running the test in a few tabs at the same time, in Opera or FF of course.

Well thats what I'm assuming he means, its the same thing someone else on the first page did and got interesting results..

I would try but I'm capped already i think.. earliest ever.
 
First Time

1.55 Mbps down
1.84 Mbps up

Second Time

2.96 Mbps down
1.31 Mbps up

This is from my office not iBurst but it must be skewed because my iBurst at home is faster than this donkey....

According to the Telkom one I get
"Your line speed is approximately 28936.2 Kbps or 3546.1 kBytes/sec"

Man I wish :P

Hmm. i am infact not capped. But I have some kind of extremely homosexual problem..

My Ibiurst doesnt go anywhere over 200kb and most of the time its just bursting 150 odd, and then jumping back down to like 20-50kb.. followed by dead... then back to 200ish for about 1 maby two seconds..

Damn... maby Ive inherited Dagga_Bunnys problem.. I'm gonna sue too

I managed to do a massive 1(52.3kbps Down and 114kbps Up) 2(47.6kbps down and 339kbps up) 3(44.9 kbps down and 126kbps up).

I love capping this little baby of mine, I managed to be capped now for a cool 10 days! I wonder if I burst will feel sorry for me after a while and give me some free bw (I can day dream you know).

I don't know if I want to cry or laugh :confused: .
 
Those are some high upload speeds. Isthat meant to be a "multi-thread" test or is it just three different tests you ran?

I am infact capped, by bad guys. But the capping isnt working too great for me this month, first time ever dont know why...

Anyone else whose capped, are you guys getting normal capped speeds because mine are a bit slower but mainly it cuts out every few sconds and does go to full speed. it sucks, downlaods take forever its just bits of 5kb speeds coming through every now and again.
 
It was three different tests ran. On my current cap I'm not having any problems, get +-9kbps when d/l from http source, but max 5 in total (4.5 is my max today for a single file) on p2p(emule).

Ja, don't ask me what's up with that flippen upload stats. If only that was my download stat. I would've been smilling all month long in my cap.
 
NOOO!!!!!

I just did a test after my previous post and I got 15.5kbps Down and 180 kbps Up, this is while p2p is running. is anybody else experiencing something like this?
 
well this is while p2p is running as you say, that will obviously kill the speeds.
5KB for your p2p and 15kilobytes for a speed test sounds fine.

My capped speeds are okay again, also around 9kbb hhttp, but they seem very itermittent, i.e. it get about 9 kb in a second or two and stops for a few split seconds then get another 7-8kb etc..
Makes thing alot slower.. not shure whats up.
