Speed up business contract process?

I had 3 contracts under my business name at MTN and changed 2 of them to prepaid, of which one was ported to a different cellphone service provider (one contract still going with MTN).

I decided to order a tablet from MTN with 1gb of data, so I thought it would be like the previous "upgrades" I did where I only had to give the usual documentation and walk out of the store on the same day with my new phone. Apparently not.

I went in on Friday 7 March and gave them all the necessary documentation. There seemed to be a problem on their system, they couldn't login on my account since the main number had been ported to a different service provider. They called in and logged the fault, and told me that I wouldn't be able to get the tablet that day anyway, since they were out of stock.

I was told to call them on Monday to hear if the contract was accepted/declined, and once it's accepted, they would order the tablet - which would take another week. I called on Monday 10 March and was told that it still says "Processing". I called again today on 12 March and it's still "Processing".

I'm hoping there's an MTN representative on the forums who could possibly speed up this process for me? I'm really not keen on waiting 2-3 weeks for the tablet.. Please send me a PM for my details :)

Regards

It's been a week now and the status is still "processing". No reply from any MTN rep on Facebook or myBB.
Maybe I should just cancel it and take another number over to Vodacom.

Still waiting for my tablet... According to the sales lady, there was a problem submitting the application on the system (14 March). On 15 March, she told me that the banking details was entered wrong on the system and that it would take 6 hours to fix. Wow, really?? Today, she still says there's a problem with the system.

So I asked her to call the business department and fax them the documents, seeing as the system is apparently so useless, to which she replies "Okay, I'll have to find out what their number is".

How can you be so USELESS? It's been TEN DAYS and still no reply from MTN.

Good luck with MTN.

Their vetting department is up to @#$#$

Also applied for a business contract for my tablet with 1 gig of data.

After a month of to-ing fro-ing I gave up and put it on my personal contract - done in 1 hour... :(

Well thanks for messaging me this morning @ MTN Rep. Unfortunately for you, it's too late. I've canceled the application at MTN. I went over to Vodacom and within 30 minutes my application was accepted. Wow, I'll never look back.
