Cant believe how slow 384k is........how fast should I be downloading on 384k? 30kbps?

when I had my 384k line, used to get between 30kbps and 38kbps

average was about 36

Surely it should be 30 kBps not 30 kbps.

unfortunately that the speeds u can expect on an 384 kbs line

and upgrading to 512k is soo expensive.....really they shouldnt even offer 384k....useless stufff.

I have a 4 meg line and am lucky when I get past 100kb/s
AND to make it worse I am only 1km away from my exchange!

It makes me SICK to the bone when I download onto my USA server at speeds of between 4200kb/s and 5900kb/s and compared to Sweden and Romania this is peanuts!!!!!

Well some kind soul just sent me a pm telling me to be careful about small b and Big B...thank you!

All I know is this...it took my server in USA less than 1 hour to download a 5.8 gig game while still doing all its work with 3 game servers running .....and it took me in SA more than 35 hours to get the same download only my PC!!! BIG DIFFERENCE !!!

I have a 384k line and I usually get between 30-40kbp/s on international. I've found it faster (45kbp/s at times) with local usage.
