Speedfine Treasure Hunt

Why? The more you drive, the better you should be getting at it. The better you drive, the less mistakes you will make, not so?

True, if you could completely factor out the human element.

Seems a bit like circular logic though. :)

they are going to take 1 million years to help you though. Their service is painfully slow. I paid them R 3500.00 at the beggining of January, they have still not got back to me. I send emails requesting feedback to which Sean Van Zyl [[email protected]] responds to, but only to tell me they are still waiting for their "agents" to complete the transactions.

At least i got a list of all my fines.

When you pay your fine @ the police station you can ask for a list of outstanding fines, they'll print you a list on request. Well, in Edenvale they do that at least, I don't know about other police stations. I have 2 outstanding fines on my car since before I brought it, which I simply ignore since it's not my name or ID number on the fines, they're happy to ignore them as well. Which goes to show, you can probably get away with an old fine, but the new ATRO system is apparently much better at nailing you, so rather get it sorted than becoming someone's girl friend in jail ;)

Maybe he wants to join people like JubJub with his 10 outstanding fines and a murder rap to boot?

It is very easy to not speed, and on the odd time that you do, pay the fine and move on. Accidents do happen, but 8 fines in a short time shows contempt and disrespect for others.

Haha, you guys crack me up. Really.
8 months not 8 fines, and currently I have no outstanding fines.
Fazda must be driving a Toyota.

Very true. You're bound to get a fine here and there if you're driving for a long time combined with the human factor. Luckily most of my fines where R200 ones. Some came from driving downhill on the highway, and others came in the race to get to work on time. I'm not proud of getting fined, as a matter of fact I hate it. It's throwing money away.
But you are absolutely right when you say that the only purpose for this post was to try and find out somewhere if there are others I don't know about.

Ouch! R3500 that's got to hurt.
