Spell check in Word 2013

The spell check in Word 2013 is not working for me. This is only in this particular doc - it works in my other docs.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

- Create a new document.
- Copy the content from the problematic document & paste it into the new document.
- Try again

It could be that it is from a previous version of Microsoft Office which hasn't converted well.

Sometimes just pressing Ctrl + A to select all..and then set the language fixes the issue.. Setting language is most of the time just clicking bottom left of window where it shows language/spelling.
