Agree 100%. All religions have their black sheep who commit atrocities in the name of religion. Unfortunately it's only Islam that's on the receiving end of mass and social media abuse and the 99,9% moderate Muslims are tarnished with the same brush.

So maybe its' best to stop reading the "abuse" and get a job! Maybe life would be better then.

What he's actually saying is that if you constantly dwell on the negative, life is gonna be **** for you. Put the hurts you suffer into perspective with regards to the joys you experience. If you're too busy trying to convince everyone your hurt is real, you don't have any time left to tend to the parts of your life that bring you joy.

Why do the wrong thing in the one instance where your actions can actually have positive outcomes?
 
Glad you can feel the mental anguish of 1.6bn Muslims when their religion is trampled on and their Prophet insulted. Not a nice feeling, is it?

we have 2 on this very forum who have documented their anguish since having the audacity to leave islam.

Maybe simply just by seeing how much time and which at hours are spend posting trolling garbage which could have been used more profitably?

As for losing the argument, I can only expect such a deduction from the likes of you. Intelligent people have a way or ability to read between the lines. Others not! ;)
 
Intolerance? I don't see intolerance. I'm only expressing the anguish of the moderate Muslims who have the endure religious abuse on a daily basis from mass and social media.

Getting upset about a cartoon is intolerance. Hell any picture will stir them.

Erm, no. Quite a few with Christian radicals as well. The problem with the Muslim one is that they are "winning" in the middle eastern countries while the christian extremists are usually a small minority in most countries.
I personally have no problems with Muslims in uni (I really don't care about your religion unless you try to force it on me) but the issues with all those Syrians fleeing into Europe is that there will be a culture clash. The culture clash will result in a lot of hate as people have to adjust. Adjusting is difficult for all, most of us are not comfortable with change. Another problem is that some of those "black sheep" from ISIS are following them into Europe (or at least many conservatives think so, which has the same result) causing many to be in fear of taking in refugees from those countries.

What should rather happen is that the Majority (hopefully) of Muslims would stand up to the extremists and end the conflict, but that is extremely unlikely to happen.

You are better off refraining from the tit for tat attitude. Grant is not Christian and Islam does not prescribe murder for people leaving Islam. This has been discussed before many times, and this is definitely not the thread for it to be discussed again.

How do you suggest should moderate Muslims "stand up against the extremists and end the conflict". Should they buy arms and fight them on the battlefield or what should they do?

Ignore the silly questions then. Why are you labelling them as Christians specifically? You are committing the same error as you attribute to those who do it to Muslims, just lumping everyone together. The worst way to garner sympathy to a cause is to have a tit for tat attitude.

People should stop killing people, full stop.
