Split Local International Bandwidth Usage

Is it possible that ISPs can take all Local Bandwidth usage from ur local cap and all international usage from ur international cap!

Currently my ISP is taking all traffic of the international cap first, regardless whether its local traffic or not. Once u have depleted ur international cap they will switch "on" ur local cap!

This would be nice with the new regulations! You can use local dc++ to ur hearts content without affecting ur international cap!!

Currently it is not technically possible to do that. You wil notice you get a different ip range when you get capped prior to that all usage is metered local and international...
 
I'd have to say technically it is possible - but telkom chooses not to do/allow it for obvious reasons.
 
The best you can do at the moment is to get 2 accounts - one for international and one for local access. I'd recommend OpenWeb's R139 p/m local only account for local access (30GB local access) and WebAfrica prepaid for international.
